Dreamtime Escape Plan super album is now on sale at CD Baby (see link below). Leilujh is now booking shows for the spring and summer and will be playing at a venue near you sometime soon!
In other news, Daddy Cool is on the mend and The Hammer has perfected his sitar playing. Lonely B traveled to Queensland in January to explore his penchant for strange keyboard sounds and bizzare time signatures. In February, Greasy Spoon swam the English Channel only to find out afterwards that it was the Sleeve instead. Samara Violet counted to infinity twice in January. And Smash took his shoes off. Look for some interesting new sounds in upcoming shows.

Angel of fire and genitals, do you know slime? Daddy Cool does. Unfortunately, he torn his achilles tendon playing football. I believe you call it soccer! Until his cast comes off, Leilujh will be in haitus as we finish mixing the new Dreamtime Escape Plan super album and work on some new songs. Please get healthy Daddy Cool!

We are in the process of recording the greatest album in history! The new album entitled "Dreamtime Escape Plan" will have 11 songs that feature a widely diverse set of influences from hip hop, psychedelic, opera, and gypsy folk. You can't wait? We can't either!

We regret to inform our fans that due to an unusual yet tragic auto accident, Big D is no longer with us. After our last show in San Jose at Johnny V's, Big D was driving her motorcycle home at 3:00 am after drinking 12 vodka shots and doing several lines of cocaine.
On her way home, just around blind-man's curve, someone had dumped 30 used television sets on the road. Big D was doing about 120 mph around the curve. Miraculously she managed to avoid crashing into the TV's, even in her inhibited state. But because it was a warm July night, she had her motorcycle visor up. And when she swerved to avoid the TV's in the road, she swallowed a bug. It wasn't just any bug, it was a big BEE! And it stung her tongue and made her feel faint.
So she sped up even faster to get to a hospital. One-hundred and FORTY miles an hour at 4:00 am! But right as she was about to get to the hospital, some Amish children wandered into the road on their way to early morning egg gathering. Big D tried to scream "Get out of the way!", but because of the bee sting, her tongue had swollen up the size of a Polish sausage and she couldn't make any sounds.
The Amish children didn't see her, so she swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting them. And ran straght into a Texaco gasoline tanker truck. Big D's body was catapulted into the air over the front of the truck and into the steel gasoline tank. The tank exploded into a fireball with Big D right in the middle. The whole rig then fell over the bridge (I forgot to mention this all happened on the Golden Gate bridge) into the icy shark infested waters below.
Fortunately, Big D was wearing her lucky leather chaps at the time and was not injured in the crash, the fireball explosion, the fall into the Bay, or the sharks. However, she did get an ear infection because of the cold water she had to swim out of. And because of that ear infection, she was no longer able to tell the difference between an A sharp and a B flat. Therefore, although we hate to do it, we must say "Goodbye" to Big D and wish her a speedy recovery.
New Album
Leilujh is currently working on new songs that are more experimental and reflect a broader set of influences. Leilujh is also regularly playing shows around the Bay Area. Come out and support local live music!
