Currently listening to: That tear in my eye? I'm caught up in the Jesus and Mary Chain reunion hype and have also been checking out their side project, Sister Vanilla. Some of my albums du jour are from TV on the Radio, Of Montreal, Cat Power, Califone, and an amazing Swedish jazz trio called E.S.T. who remind me of Keith Jarrett and Sonic Youth. I live 5 blocks from Amoeba, so ask me again tomorrow.
Leilujh gear: I sponsor Slingerland and Zildjian. I play a 60's blue marine pearl kit...4 piece. Though I may soon bust my 40's Slingerland Radio King set or Steve Jordan cocktail kit. My cymbals and I are meant to be...I left them on the curb at 19th and Mission after a gig. One week later a guy named Preston(!) posted a flyer for lost musical instruments and I got them back! Steve Shelley inspired me to play with a maraca and tambourine in my right hand from time to time.
