The Edinburgh Castle is an undiscovered (thankfully!) gem in the heart of the tender-knob. They have great fish and chips, cheap drinks, and great events. Anthony Swofford (author of Jarhead) gave a reading from his new book Exit A prior to the show. We went on at 10, thinking that nobody would be there since it was freezing cold and it was a Thursday night. But what a fun show it turned out to be. Unfortunately, most of us on stage were pretty drunk by the time things got started and our playing reflected that. We even tried a cover of Peter Schilling's Major Tom, never to be repeated in public again! But we had a blast, thanks again to everyone who came out to support us.
