The Octopus Lounge is the best dive bar on the West Coast! Even the strip mall it's located in is divey. We started out the night checking out the hula girls in the dance studio next door. Then Luke Geiger opened up with a lovely acoustic set. But the highlight of the night was definitely Raising Days--these guys are pure, undiluted rock! They even have a smoke machine! They're a great band to see live, if you are reading this and have not seen them, you should definitely check them out.
